Northern lights retreats started over ten years ago and owner Mark Elmer started building his rental business. Mark is a unique individual that values art in all of his properties. these current vacation homes have a certain pizzae to them. From the beautiful scenery to the numerous amount of activities to do in the Copper Harbor area, the rental homes become that recharging location for anyone in search of a get-away.

Mountain biking is one of the most popular attractions, but one fun fact about the area is that it is one of the best places in North America to pick berries. There are numerous hiking trails that have berries all along side the trails. It is truly one of the most tranquil places one can get away to in Michigan.
